🌿 Orion Community Shop – Seller Terms & Conditions

💛 Overview

Our Orion Community Shop is a shared online space where sellers can list and offer their items through Orion’s Embrace CIC.

Our aim is to create a simple, supportive system that benefits both sellers and the wider community, while helping to fund accessible wellbeing support.

💷 Payments, Fees & Commission

  • All customer payments are processed through Orion’s Embrace CIC
  • Payment processing fees are deducted from each order before commission is applied

To keep things fair and consistent:

  • Fees deducted will be aligned with standard payment processing rates (typically no more than PayPal transaction fees)

✨ Commission

  • A 15% commission is taken from the item price only
  • Commission is calculated after payment processing fees have been deducted
  • Postage costs are not included in commission calculations and are passed directly to the seller

💰 Payouts

  • The remaining balance (item price minus fees and commission, plus postage) will be paid to the seller
  • Payments will be made within 5–7 working days of the order being confirmed

📦 Postage & Delivery

  • Sellers are responsible for packaging and posting their items
  • Delivery methods and timeframes must be clearly stated when submitting products
  • If additional delivery options are offered (e.g. tracked or next day), these must be specified

📭 Customer Details

  • Customer name, delivery address, and contact details will be shared with the seller for the purpose of fulfilling the order
  • These details must only be used for order fulfilment and must not be used for marketing unless separate consent has been given

⚠️ Responsibility

  • Sellers are responsible for:
    • The accuracy of their listings
    • The quality and condition of their items
    • Safe packaging and dispatch
  • While we will always support where we can, responsibility for delivery sits with the seller once the item has been dispatched

🔄 Stock & Availability

  • Sellers must ensure that all listed items are available
  • If an item is sold elsewhere, Orion’s Embrace CIC must be informed as soon as possible so the listing can be removed

🚪 Removing Products & Leaving the Shop

  • Sellers may request removal of their products at any time
  • Please allow up to 3–5 working days for listings to be removed
  • If leaving the shop entirely, 7 days’ notice is requested
  • Any outstanding orders must still be fulfilled
